Bus Tickets for a Family dealing with Cancer

We had our Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 28. We had such a great time! There were so many adorable and fun kids. A huge amount of them helped set up. I loved it! We took photos of the kids in front of a fun backdrop we got last year and they were all cute in their costumes. After we were all cleaned up and I was getting ready to drive off, one of the moms was racing her son's bike over to us. She wanted to know when we were going to have the photos back. We are just getting them developed at Costco but you would think these were professionally done. You see, one of the photos is of her daughter who has had a brain tumor they found very soon after her birth. They were told because of where it was and her age it was inoperable. Recently, she just found out she has advanced leukemia. She is 2 1/2 years old and as sweet as can be. The doctors have given her until February. Right now they have been given all the donations from the different agencies and trimet that they can get and their insurance is not one that provides for Trimet Lift. They walk at least once a week sometimes more to the hospital and doctors' visits for the daughter. We would like to raise money to put on a HOP card that she can use for day bus tickets to get the the hospital and the doctors. If you want to add to this send your donation to ercc and put a card in the envelope saying for bus tickets for family dealing with cancer. We will be collecting for this until I blog otherwise. If you want to give through our online options just put a comment on there.
